about

An anthology of largely non-ambient works from 2004 - 2014. Some of these tracks appeared on my earlier albums and have been remixed and mastered. Some were commissioned works for compilations, radio and interpretive dance. And some were works I really loved but never had a cohesive album to place them on.

In many ways it wasn't until Berlin Alexanderplatz that I truly found my musical voice. That being the case, you'll find much here that resulted from experimenting with many styles and influences. I've not used guitars or vocals in many years but did experiment with them from time to time on the earlier works. Some of the music dates from the last 3 years and is recognisable in style to the work I'm currently doing.

The album sequence has been thought out but little is in chronological order and I've deliberately not included dates for the music. Not a greatest hits because that would be cheesy. More of an occasional snapshot of a fragmented imagination.

Love and light,
Mick
